AWAI is always looking to our community to help in our efforts to improve the lives of Afghan women. There are many ways you can contribute.

Volunteer Program Coordinator
We are currently in need of someone with program coordinator experience to help us organize the Afghan Widows project. This person would use their project management skills to set up systems to ensure that families sponsoring widows and their families in Afghanistan and Pakistan have the support their need. Widow Project Sponsors
The Widow Project is always in need of people to help sponsor Afghan families. Sending $20-40 a month to support a widow and her family and writing personal letters of encouragement can make a big difference. For more information and how to contribute, click here.

Sewing Project Sponsors
One part of the Afghan Widow's Project is to train Afghanis to make and use solar ovens to cook food and pasteurize water. The project is in need of support to offer the training and distribute the ovens. Click here for more information.
